Southend Barns, Chichester, August 2013
Cliff was the perfect choice for us as our wedding photographer. From our first meeting to the wedding day itself he was an ultimate professional, being both friendly whilst offering his advice and experience as a wedding photographer. On the day itself he worked endlessly capturing the story and details of our wonderful day just as we had hoped he would. The final album and photos he supplied will be with us forever and we’d happily recommend his services to anyone looking for a an excellent, fun, professional wedding photographer.
Thank you Cliff,
Lisa & Mark xx
Lisa and Mark’s wedding was lovely. The weather in August delivered just it should; warm and sunny, and with the exception of finding the brides parents house down a truly well hidden private road, the day ran as smoothly and as easily as I can ever wish for.
I arrived at the brides family home where she was preparing along with her bridesmaids and family. Canapés and champagne were already being sampled in the kitchen and family children were playing in the garden. After some playful family photos on the trampoline Lisa began to get ready, and the house and garden gave us plenty of opportunities to capture different pictures with all the different family members. The bride and her family looked stunning as they left for the wedding venue at Southend Barns, Chichester, which was only ten minutes down the road.
Arriving at Southend Barns Mark and his best man we’re keeping calm and cool underneath the awnings. Guests were also starting to arrive and were greeted and directed into the modern and contemporary hall which is used for wedding services. Once all the guests were seated and all the children gathered the bride with her father made a elegant entrance to begin the wedding service.
Following the wedding service the newly husband and wife couple made their way into the court yard where they and their guests began to celebrate the occasion. After a glass of champagne we arranged a couple of large group photos before I then continued to capture the guests and groups of friends simply enjoying themselves from a distance, but able to capture the details of every smile and laugh.
Wedding breakfast followed and the larger barn of the two barns at Southend Barns was ready to host the wedding breakfast. With beautiful unique seat labels and seating plan everyone found their seat before once again Lisa and Mark made their entry. A rapturous applause greeted them, and shortly afterwards the caterers Field & Fork began to serve the wonderful cuisine for the day.
Following the speeches the tables were cleared and the bride and groom made their way to the dance floor. Again the interior space of the big barn combined with the court yard space in the early evening of a summer day provided a perfect environment for wedding photography and a party which enabled me to capture the evening party of dancers and children playing as the sunset.
Following the wedding I designed and produced a beautiful wedding album, providing a story book and a life long memory book of the faces, emotions and great time had, sample pages which can be viewed above.
